The Brain Tour



Overview

Alzheimer’s Research UK is a leading charity in the UK funding research in to the treatment of Dementia. We recently delivered a featured enhancement to their site and a supporting facebook ad campaign to help drive awareness and donations.

The ‘Brain Tour’ was built in to Alzheimer’s Research UK’s existing website with the goal to make the site and content more engaging and compelling to the visitor and help encourage donations. It takes visitors on an interactive tour of the brain, showing the affects that dementia has on one of the body’s most important organs through a number of different articles, videos, pictures and interviews.

The Brain Tour also features content and videos about various leading research projects that include the future of Alzheimer’s treatments, the genetics of Alzheimer’s disease, along with further projects and insights from experts. These projects, along with additional content that will be added throughout the year, will help to build a fuller picture of the state of Alzheimer’s treatment today and the growing chances for success in finding a way of defeating it.

Results have been impressive doubling site traffic and driving up dwell time across the site and importantly the Brain Tour up to the 3rd most visited page.
